Pupil Premium Reviews

We offer schools a full pupil premium review undertaken by Bill who is an experienced National Pupil Premium Reviewer and leads the training of new reviewers for the Teaching School Council.

A pupil premium review analyses the strategies and practices in your school aimed at improving the outcomes and progress of Pupil Premium Pupils including Ever 6, Looked After and Service pupils. The review also evaluates the way in which the Pupil Premium Grant is spent, monitored and tracked. In addition, it analyses the understanding and knowledge of staff and governors and provides a wide range of suggested actions for the school to improve and progress.

Feedback from leaders where reviews have taken place has been very positive.

The review process includes:

A thorough review of the documentation, extracting key trails
1 to 2 days spent in school talking with leaders, staff, parents, governors and pupils
Analysis of findings presented in a full report (10-12 pages)
Support to prepare a PPG Action Plan
Feedback to staff and/or Governing Body
Half day follow up review six months later
